Founder and General Director
Casper is an experienced development and environmental
economist with work experience in China, Costa Rica, Germany, Indonesia,
Japan, Kuwait, Mongolia, the Netherlands, Saudi-Arabia, Tajikistan
the United Arab Emirates and Uzbekistan. His main areas of expertise
are evaluation and monitoring, development cooperation project related
services (identification, formulation, inception, and implementation),
development of CDM projects and climate change, policymaking, and
economic (computer-based) modeling.
Most of Casper's recent assignments have been
in Asia, in the areas of environment, energy and economics. Since
1996, Casper carried out some 25+ assignments in China. Casper has
been living and working in Beijing, China since the end of April
1999.

Chief Representative China
Joost van Acht is an experienced economist with work experience in China, Japan and the Netherlands. His core expertise and interest is in Environmental Economics, the Clean Development Mechanism, Development, Industrial Economics and Innovation and Management of Technology.
Joost was previously employed at NEI and SEOR in the Netherlands where he worked on a variety of consultancy and research projects. From April 2002 to March 2004 he was associated to the Institute of Innovation Research at Hitotsubashi University where he did field research on innovation networks.
Joost has extensive experience in CDM project development. From 2004 to 2006 he was responsible for CDM project development in Western China where he identified about 25+ CDM project that are currently under development. In June 2006 he moved from Lanzhou (West China) to Beijing where he is currently based.

Dorjpurev Jargal is a highly knowledgeable Mongolian
climate change and energy expert. He has carried out assignments
within the Mongolian energy sector for among others ADB, TACIS,
World Bank, the Netherlands Embassy in Beijing, GTZ, and UNDP.
Dorjpurev has been involved in several climate
change related projects, for example, Greenhouse Gas Emission Reduction
from Industry in Asia and the Pacific (UNEP); Mongolia's Initial
National Communication on Climate Change (GEF); National action
plan of Climate Change of Mongolia (Netherlands supported); Asia
Least-cost Greenhouse gas Abatement Strategy (ADB); Country Study
on Climate Change in Mongolia (USA supported).

Jennifer
Xinyi Ruan |

Office Manager
Jennifer is a highly experienced
manager with multilingual language skills, fluent in Mandarin, Cantonese
and Netherlands, with very good English language skills. Before
joining Caspervandertak Consulting, she worked in many management
positions, including positions as Marketing Executive at Porsche
Centre Beijing, Event manager at Logistix in Beijing, and Logistical
Manager at Enlight Europe in Ridderkerk, the Netherlands.
Jennifer's wide-ranging management and
language skills allow her to make an important contribution to the
business of Caspervandertak Consulting. |

Christophe J. Assicot (B.A.) |

Consultant, Northwest China
Christophe is a business consultant with work experience in China, Ireland, Britain and France. He was previously employed at several organizations in Paris, London, Dublin and Lanzhou.
His core expertise and interest is in sustainable development, the Clean Development Mechanism, the Chinese economy and international cooperation. He has been based in northwest China for several years, where he was associated to the Chinese Northwest Nationalities University since 2003 and worked on education programs involving the Tibetan, Hui and Uygur minorities. He has also worked on several assignments for the French embassy in northwest China.
At Caspervandertak Consulting he is mainly engaged in CDM project development in northwest China. Christophe is particularly engaged in the process of stakeholder involvement and integration of sustainable development objectives with CDM.
Christophe is multilingual and fluent in French, English, Spanish, and has knowledge of Mandarin. He is based in Northwest China where he acts on behalf of CaspervanderTak Consulting and works together with our local partners. |

Consultant
Edward obtained a Masters degree in Commercial Economics at the ¡®Vrije Universiteit¡¯ of Amsterdam, The Netherlands. His core expertise and interest is in international marketing strategy, sustainable development and the Clean Development Mechanism.
From 2001 to 2005, Edward conducted several strategic marketing and organizational researches in The Netherlands, Great Britain and China. He has gained specific knowledge of and appreciation for the Chinese market and (business) culture through performance of a research regarding Critical Success Factors for Dutch organizations operating in four different regions in China, in assignment of the Consulate General of The Netherlands in Guangzhou.
Since May 2006 Edward has been based in the Beijing office, where he is mainly engaged in the marketing of CDM products and services and CDM project development. |

Consultant
Ivy is highly qualified in Chinese-English language
work and engaged herself in the field of environmental protection.
She previously worked for the Organising Committee of the APEC conference
on the recycling-based economy and China's western development.
Ivy is currently based in Yinchuan, Ninxia Hui
Autonomous Region, where she is working closely with Caspervandertak
Consulting's local partners in the development of CDM projects |

Lucy Deng (M.Sc.) |

Consultant
Lucy obtained a Masters degree in Information Management Science and a BA in English.
She was previously employed at several research companies in China and at a German representative office in Beijing.
Lucy's core expertise and interest is the Clean Development Mechanism, investor relations, foreign trade and international cooperation.
She has worked for several years at the research departments of Basic Research Networking of China, Institute of Scientific and Technological Information of China and the Networking Center of Wanfangdata ltd. Co. In these previous jobs she gained experience in the fields of research, analysis regulatory affairs and industrial development. She has been involved in the organization of the Asia-Pacific Information Networking event.
Lucy is multilingual and fluent in Chinese (Mandarin) and English. She is currently based at the Beijing office, where she works on various CDM and other projects in cooperation with Caspervandertak Consulting's partners. |

Meskes Berkouwer obtained a Masters degree in general economics at the ¡°Vrije Universiteit¡± in the Netherlands and studied development economics at the ¡°Instituto Tecnologico Autonomo de Mexico¡± in Mexico.
Meskes has previously conducted research into public finances in Bangalore, India, and was employed at the Dutch Centre for the Promotion of Imports.
His core areas of interest are environmental economics, development and trade. Since September 2006 he is working on CDM projects in China and has developed some 10+ project design documents. |
