Monitoring
With the development of project documentation to ensure national approval, validation and registration, only half the job is done. The thorough monitoring of project operation, and particularly the adherence to monitoring plans as laid out in the project design document, is essential to secure the optimal issuance of carbon credits. Therefore, we work closely with project owners' staff on location to train and educate personnel in monitoring procedures and documentation. Equally, we collaborate with the verifiers of emission reduction projects to immediately address any issues that might be raised during verification to ensure an expedient issuance of credits.
The monitoring services are usually an integrated part of our contracts for development of project documentation, partly because we trust our own judgements on the qualities of the projects we develop; partly because of the rationality in employing our in-depth knowledge of the project throughout the whole operations period of the project activity; but especially because we would like to develop long-standing relationships with our clients, project developers and credit buyers alike.
