Capacity Building
Training is essential both for project developers and for buyers of carbon credits to make their own assessments particularly of the risk profiles of their projects. It is an indisputable fact that despite the market growing more and more mature, the uncertainties related to projects are growing bigger. One of the main issues rapidly growing in importance of course is the fast approaching expiry of the Kyoto Protocol combined with the growing delay in the project registration time. A thorough and precise assessment is important and our training activities address crucial issue like monitoring procedures, addressing of verifiers requests for clarification, and post-2012 carbon credits.
CVDTC also provides training and capacity building for several Designated National Authorities (DNA’s).
