Gansu Qilianshan Cement 6000kW Waste Heat Recovery Project, co-developed by CVDTC and Gansu Tonghe, was successfully registered at the EB. The project will consist of the installation of 4 waste heat recovery (WHR) boilers, of which two at the pre-heater stage and two at the clinker cooler stage. The steam produced by the boilers will be used to power a steam turbine with a capacity of 6000kW. It is expected to generate approximately 27,585 metric tonnes CO2 equivalent per annum, which is purchased by Swedish Energy Agency.
