08/29/08
Inner Mongolia Wulanchabu Volan Cement Waste Heat Recovery Project, co-developed by CVDTC and Gansu Tonghe, was successfully registered at the EB. The project will consist of the installation of 6 waste heat recovery (WHR) boilers, of which three at the pre-heater stage and three at the clinker cooler stage. The steam produced by the boilers will be used to power two steam turbines with a capacity of 8,000kW and 9,000kW. The total installed capacity is therefore 17,000kW. It is expected to generate approximately 123,794 metric tonnes CO2 equivalent per annum, which is purchased by Climate Change Capital.
