Ma Steel (new plant) CDQ and Waste Heat Utilization Project successfully registered

Ma Steel (new plant) CDQ and Waste Heat Utilization Project developed by CVDTC for Climate Change Capital, was successfully registered at the EB. The CDQ systems for No. 1 (new) and No. 2 (new) coke ovens will recover waste heat from red-hot coke and utilize the sensible heat for power generation. The generation capacity of the proposed project is 36MW. It is expected to generate approximately 176,527 metric tonnes CO2 equivalent per annum, which is purchased by Climate Change Capital Carbon Fund II s.à.r.l.
